All our BSL/British sign language interpreters are highly trained and experienced in their profession. Many of them have family members who are deaf or hearing impaired, which gives them a true understanding of the needs of the deaf community. As part of their registration process, our BSL/British sign language interpreters are obliged to continually upgrade their academic requirements to keep their qualifications up to date. We therefore ensure that they attend any additional training courses that are deemed necessary. We also provide our sign language interpreters with in-house training sessions and encourage them to attend refresher courses to ensure that they are fully compliant with of any new Guidelines and Acts which may be introduced.
