In order to provide the very highest level of service to our Deaf or hearing impaired client, it is helpful if the note-taker knows something about the subject they are dealing with and are adequately briefed beforehand. Note-takers may specialise in a particular field, for example, medical, legal, etc. If the Deaf or hearing impaired person has very specific requirements, then time should be spent finding the right note-taker to support them.
