Booking a Lipspeaker

Lip-speakers are in great demand with the Deaf community, so when making bookings it is advisable to allow a minimum of 3 weeks notice in order to guarantee bookings. However, we will always endeavour to provide a service at short notice or in emergency situations. Please ensure that you book the correct level of lip-speaker for the assignment.

For many assignments, two lip-speakers will be required. A lip-speaker should not be expected to work alone for a whole day or for complex and specialist areas of work.

When booking a Lip-speaker, it is recommended that we receive any relevant information / documentation relating to the assignment in good time so that the interpreter is well briefed to the needs of the Deaf client.

You can request a Lip-speaker by contacting us or by completing an online booking form.
