Driving and the Deaf or Hearing Impaired person
The following link has some useful information for
Deaf and hearing impaired clients regarding the regulations and
entitlements for driving, and for taking their tests.
This information was produced to help driving instructors in teaching
Deaf or hearing impaired clients, but is excellent information for
the deaf person too. Print copies of this booklet to give to any
prospective driving instructors, or to family members that may be
helping with driving practice, in order that a common vocabulary
can be established.
