On the 1st July 2008, our company name changed from Quest BSL Ltd to Silent Sounds UK Ltd.

Over the past 10 years, we have provided both spoken language services through Quest I&T, and Deaf interpretation services through Quest BSL. As a result of the expansion of our range of deaf services in this period, our business has become much more specialised in its approach, and we wanted our name to reflect this. The BSL / Deaf communication side of the business has been renamed Silent Sounds UK Ltd, and de-merged from the spoken language division, which is now trading as Effective Communication Services Ltd.

Although our company name has changed, Silent Sounds’ dedication to providing and maintaining a professional, reliable, high quality and cost effective service to all our Deaf and hearing impaired clients is now even stronger. We feel that by becoming a specialist “niche” service, we can focus all of our energies towards continually improving the quality of our BSL/British Sign Language, and other Deaf communication services, and to increase public and community awareness regarding Deaf issues.
